WCW Mayhem [EA Classics] - PlayStation 1
Step into the ring with famous WCW wrestlers in WCW Mayhem for the PlayStation 1. The game brings the atmosphere of World Championship Wrestling to the console with a large roster featuring major names such as Goldberg, Sting, Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page.
Gameplay focuses on wrestling, grapples, powerful attacks and different match types. Each wrestler has their own selection of moves that can be used to weaken opponents and eventually secure the victory. Certain matches also allow the action to move backstage, taking the fight into different environments beyond the traditional wrestling ring.
With multiple game modes, championships and a broad selection of WCW stars, WCW Mayhem offers plenty for professional wrestling fans to explore. Its presentation and roster also provide a recognisable snapshot of WCW during the late 1990s. This EA Classics edition is an interesting addition for fans of classic wrestling games and PlayStation 1 collectors.
