Join the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in battle with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan for the PlayStation 4. This action game from PlatinumGames, known for titles such as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, brings Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo together in a colourful adventure filled with fast-paced combat and familiar enemies. When various villains cause chaos throughout New York, the four brothers must work together to protect the city.
Gameplay combines fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, ninja abilities, special attacks and teamwork. Play as one of the four Turtles and use their signature weapons to defeat enemies. Leonardo fights with his katanas, Raphael uses his sai, Donatello wields a long bo staff and Michelangelo attacks with his nunchaku. During gameplay, you can switch between the different Turtles, allowing you to combine their unique abilities and fighting styles.
Throughout the adventure, face familiar opponents from the TMNT universe, including Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang and the Foot Clan. Missions take place across various locations in Manhattan, from busy streets and rooftops to underground areas. Alongside regular enemies, you encounter powerful bosses that require different tactics and effective teamwork.
One of the game's key features is its selection of special Ninjutsu attacks. These abilities can be used to strike multiple enemies at once, support teammates or perform powerful combinations. By completing missions, you can unlock new abilities and upgrades to further develop the Turtles.
The game supports online cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, with each player controlling their own Turtle. You can also experience the adventure alone, with the remaining Turtles controlled by the computer. Online functionality depends on the availability of the relevant services; local cooperative multiplayer on a single console is not supported.
