The Smurfs 2 - Nintendo Wii
Join the familiar little blue characters on a cheerful adventure in The Smurfs 2 for Nintendo Wii. Released by Ubisoft in 2013, this platform game is based on the animated film of the same name. When the evil wizard Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette, the Smurfs must work together to rescue her. During their journey, they travel through different colourful environments and encounter a variety of enemies and obstacles.
In The Smurfs 2, control several familiar Smurfs, including Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf and Grouchy Smurf. Run, jump and defeat enemies as you progress through levels filled with platforms, hidden items and challenges. Each playable Smurf has different characteristics that can be useful throughout the adventure. Along the way, collect Smurfberries and discover new areas, from the familiar Smurf Village to locations inspired by the film. The straightforward controls make the game accessible to younger players. You can also cooperate with other players to complete the levels together.
The Smurfs 2 combines classic platform action with the familiar characters and humour of the Smurfs. Its cheerful presentation, varied environments and cooperative gameplay create an accessible family adventure. An enjoyable addition to a Nintendo Wii collection for fans of platform games and the Smurfs.
