Relive the story of Disney’s The Lion King in this platforming adventure for the Super Nintendo. Follow Simba from his childhood in the Pride Lands, where he is being prepared for his future role as king. After the events surrounding his father Mufasa, Simba must eventually return to face Scar and reclaim his rightful place as king.
Run and jump through stages based on familiar locations and scenes from the film, avoiding enemies, overcoming obstacles and completing a variety of challenges along the way. Young Simba can use abilities such as his roar and jumping on enemies, while adult Simba is stronger and capable of directly attacking his opponents. Familiar characters and animals from the film appear throughout the adventure.
The Lion King combines classic platforming action with colourful graphics, animation and music inspired by the 1994 Disney film. The different stages of Simba’s life also bring changes to the gameplay as the adventure progresses. This HOL edition is a great addition for Disney enthusiasts, fans of classic platform games and Super Nintendo collectors.
