Relive the story of Disney’s The Lion King in this platforming adventure for the Super Nintendo. Follow Simba from his childhood in the Pride Lands, where he grows up as the son of King Mufasa and prepares for his future role as king. When Scar takes control, Simba must eventually return to face his past and reclaim Pride Rock.
Run, jump and climb through stages based on familiar locations and scenes from the film, avoiding enemies and overcoming a variety of platforming challenges. As young Simba, you can use abilities including his roar and jumping on enemies. Later in the adventure, you play as adult Simba, who is stronger and can use his claws and direct attacks during combat.
The Lion King combines classic platforming action with colourful graphics, fluid animation and music inspired by the 1994 Disney film. The different stages of Simba’s life also bring changes to the gameplay as the adventure progresses. This HOL edition is a great addition for Disney enthusiasts, fans of classic platform games and Super Nintendo collectors.
