Tekken 4 - PlayStation 2
Enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament once again in Tekken 4 for the PlayStation 2. The story focuses in part on the return of Kazuya Mishima and the continuing conflict within the Mishima family. Familiar fighters including Jin Kazama, Heihachi Mishima and Paul Phoenix return, while newcomers such as Steve Fox and Christie Monteiro make their debut.
Gameplay focuses on fast-paced 3D battles, extensive combos and different fighting styles. Each fighter has their own selection of attacks, throws and combinations, giving every character a distinctive approach to combat. Arenas play a greater role than before, with walls and other environmental elements influencing positioning and opportunities during a fight.
Alongside traditional battles, Tekken 4 features several game modes, including a Story Mode that reveals more about the backgrounds and motivations of its fighters. Tekken Force also returns in a redesigned form, allowing you to move through areas while fighting multiple opponents. Tekken 4 brings the series’ signature fighting action to the PlayStation 2 with new characters, environments and gameplay elements.
