Tekken 2 - PlayStation 1
Enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament once again in Tekken 2 for the PlayStation 1. This second entry in Namco’s famous fighting series brings together an expanded roster including Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi Mishima, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams and Yoshimitsu. Each fighter has their own fighting style, attacks and combinations.
Gameplay focuses on fast one-on-one battles, combos and mastering different fighting styles. The four main attack buttons correspond to your character’s arms and legs, allowing different strikes to be combined into powerful moves. Careful defence, avoiding incoming attacks and striking at the right moment are essential for defeating your opponent.
Alongside the traditional Arcade Mode, Tekken 2 features several other game modes and unlockable characters, providing plenty to discover. Its expanded roster and distinctive 3D fighting helped establish the Tekken series as one of PlayStation’s most recognisable fighting franchises. A memorable title for fans of classic fighting games and the early PlayStation 1 era.
