Fight back against an alien invasion in Super Probotector: Alien Rebels for the Super Nintendo, the European version of Contra III: The Alien Wars. In a devastated future, the alien Red Falcon forces return to Earth. Combat robots RD008 and RC011 are deployed to stop the invasion and reclaim the planet.
Run, jump and shoot through explosive stages filled with aliens, gun emplacements, vehicles and enormous bosses while collecting a variety of powerful weapons. You can carry two weapons at once and switch between them during the action. Alongside the classic side-scrolling stages, the game also features overhead levels that use the Super Nintendo’s Mode 7 technology to rotate and scale the environments.
Super Probotector: Alien Rebels is known for its fast pace, challenging gameplay and spectacular boss battles. The option to play together with a second player further enhances its intense arcade-style action. This FAH edition is an interesting addition for fans of run-and-gun games, Konami titles and Super Nintendo collectors.
