Set out on an adventure with Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the Super Nintendo. When Baby Mario and Baby Luigi are attacked by Kamek during their journey, the two brothers become separated. Baby Mario lands on Yoshi’s Island, where a group of Yoshis decide to carry him safely across the island while searching for Baby Luigi.
Travel through colourful stages filled with enemies, secrets, platforming challenges and imaginative bosses. Yoshi can swallow enemies and turn them into eggs, which can then be thrown as projectiles to defeat opponents, activate switches and uncover hidden items. Yoshi also has his familiar Flutter Jump and several transformations that introduce new possibilities throughout the adventure.
Yoshi's Island stands out for its hand-drawn, crayon-like visual style and creative level design. The game uses the Super FX2 chip to produce various visual effects and large, dynamic enemies. This FAH edition is a great addition for Mario and Yoshi fans, classic platforming enthusiasts and Super Nintendo collectors.
