Super Mario Land - UKV - Nintendo Game Boy
Join Mario on an adventure in Super Mario Land for the Nintendo Game Boy. This time, Mario leaves the Mushroom Kingdom behind and travels to the mysterious Sarasaland, where the alien Tatanga has kidnapped Princess Daisy and taken control of its inhabitants.
Run and jump through varied platforming stages filled with enemies, blocks, coins, secret areas and obstacles. Collect Super Mushrooms to grow larger and use the Superball Flower to defeat enemies. Alongside traditional platforming, the adventure features unusual shoot-'em-up sections where Mario pilots a submarine and an aeroplane.
Super Mario Land was released in 1989 as one of the early titles for the Game Boy and marked Mario’s first platforming adventure on Nintendo’s handheld. The introduction of Sarasaland, Princess Daisy and the distinctive vehicle stages gives the game its own identity within the Mario series. This UKV edition is a great addition for Mario fans, retro gamers and Nintendo Game Boy collectors.
