Super Mario Land 2 - UKV-1 - Nintendo Game Boy
Return to Mario’s handheld adventures in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins for the Nintendo Game Boy. While Mario was away in Sarasaland, the mysterious Wario took over his castle and turned the inhabitants of Mario Land against him. To reclaim his home, Mario must collect six Golden Coins scattered across different areas.
Explore six distinct zones filled with platforming stages, enemies, secret areas and bosses. Run, jump and use familiar power-ups such as the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower, while the Carrot transforms Mario into Bunny Mario and allows him to slowly glide through the air using his rabbit ears. The zones can largely be tackled in your preferred order, giving the adventure more freedom.
Super Mario Land 2 significantly expands upon its predecessor with larger character sprites, more elaborate stages and a world map filled with varied locations. Released in 1992, the game also holds an important place in Mario history because it marks Wario’s first appearance. This UKV-1 edition is a great addition for Mario fans, retro gamers and Nintendo Game Boy collectors.
