Super Mario 3D World - Wii U

Experience a colourful platforming adventure in Super Mario 3D World for Nintendo Wii U. Released by Nintendo in 2013, this platform game takes Mario and his friends to the magical Sprixie Kingdom. When Bowser captures the peaceful Sprixies, Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad set out to rescue them. Throughout their adventure, they travel across imaginative worlds filled with surprising obstacles, hidden secrets and familiar enemies from the Mario universe.

In Super Mario 3D World, run, jump and climb through three-dimensional levels featuring moving platforms, secret passages and challenging obstacles. Choose from Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad, each with their own unique characteristics. Luigi can jump higher, Peach can briefly float through the air, and Toad moves particularly quickly. A special addition is the Super Bell, which transforms your character into a cat, allowing you to climb walls and attack enemies with your claws. Other power-ups include the Double Cherry, which lets you control multiple copies of the same character simultaneously. The game supports local multiplayer for up to four players, allowing you to explore the different levels together. There are also special Captain Toad stages where you solve puzzles and collect hidden stars.

Super Mario 3D World combines accessible platforming action with creative level design, colourful graphics and several playable characters. Its many hidden secrets and cooperative gameplay options provide plenty of variety. An excellent addition to a Nintendo Wii U collection for fans of Mario and platform games.
