Step back into the arena in Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the Super Nintendo. This Capcom fighting game brings familiar fighters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Zangief together with characters including Sakura, Rose, Guy and Rolento. Each fighter has their own background, fighting style and selection of special techniques.
Face a variety of opponents in one-on-one battles and use fast attacks, combos, throws, special moves and powerful Super Combos to claim victory. The game also introduces the Custom Combo system, allowing you to temporarily perform a sequence of attacks in rapid succession. Different fighting styles and techniques mean that each character requires a different approach.
Street Fighter Alpha 2 originally appeared in arcades before receiving a technically impressive conversion for the Super Nintendo. This version uses the special S-DD1 chip to help bring its detailed graphics and animations to the console. This FAH edition is an interesting addition for Street Fighter fans, classic fighting game enthusiasts and Super Nintendo collectors.
