Star Wars Battlefront - PlayStation 4

Step into the Star Wars universe with Star Wars Battlefront for the PlayStation 4. This action-packed shooter from developer DICE lets you participate in large-scale battles between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Travel to familiar locations from the original Star Wars films, including Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and Sullust, and experience the conflict from the perspective of a soldier on the battlefield.

Gameplay combines intense shooting combat, various multiplayer modes, vehicles and famous Star Wars characters. Use futuristic blasters, grenades and specialised equipment to defeat enemies. During certain matches, you can control vehicles such as speeder bikes, AT-ST walkers and different starfighters. You can also temporarily take on the role of iconic heroes and villains, including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo and Boba Fett, each with their own abilities and attacks.

Star Wars Battlefront offers several game modes, including Walker Assault, where Rebel forces attempt to stop enormous AT-AT walkers, and Fighter Squadron, which focuses on aerial combat. The game also features missions and survival challenges that can be experienced alone or with another player. Certain local modes support split-screen play, allowing you to enjoy the action together without online opponents.

The game focuses primarily on multiplayer and does not feature a traditional story-driven single-player campaign. Online multiplayer requires an internet connection and generally a PlayStation Plus subscription. The availability of online matches may depend on current player activity and server support.

With recognisable locations, impressive sound effects and spectacular battles, Star Wars Battlefront delivers an action-packed experience for fans of the Star Wars universe.
