Set out on a colourful and unusual adventure in Spanky's Quest for the Super Nintendo. Spanky, a small monkey, encounters the evil witch Morticia, who causes a mysterious tower to appear and traps him inside. To escape, Spanky must make his way through multiple floors filled with enemies, obstacles and challenges.
Spanky has an unusual way of defending himself. Bounce magical bubbles and transform them into different sports balls to defeat enemies. The more times a bubble is bounced before being released, the more powerful the resulting attack can become. This gives the gameplay a distinctive combination of platforming, timing and clever use of Spanky’s abilities.
Spanky's Quest stands out with its colourful presentation, quirky characters and original mixture of platforming and puzzle-like elements. Its unusual attack system gives the game a distinctive identity among other platformers from the 16-bit era. This USA edition is an interesting addition for fans of unusual Super Nintendo platform games and retro collectors.
