Soul Calibur V - PlayStation 3
Enter the arena once again in Soul Calibur V for the PlayStation 3. The story takes place seventeen years after Soulcalibur IV and focuses in part on Patroklos and Pyrrha, the children of Sophitia. The conflict surrounding the legendary swords Soul Edge and Soul Calibur once again plays a central role.
Gameplay combines weapon-based combat, fast combos, different fighting styles and powerful special attacks. Each fighter has their own weapon, range and way of attacking, making timing and understanding your chosen character important. The Critical Edge system allows you to perform powerful attacks once enough energy has been built up.
Alongside the story, you can compete in various battle modes and challenge other players. The extensive Character Creation system also lets you design your own fighters and customise their appearance and fighting style. The roster features both familiar and new characters, with Assassin’s Creed protagonist Ezio Auditore appearing as a guest fighter.
