Soul Calibur III [Platinum] - PlayStation 2
Return to the battle surrounding the legendary Soul Edge and Soul Calibur swords in Soulcalibur III for the PlayStation 2. Familiar warriors including Mitsurugi, Nightmare, Ivy, Taki and Kilik return alongside new characters and fighting styles. Each fighter features their own weapon, attacks and tactical possibilities.
Gameplay focuses on fast-paced 3D battles, weapon-based combat and tactical one-on-one fights. Timing, defence, evasion and carefully combining attacks are important when trying to defeat an opponent. Alongside traditional battles, the game features several modes offering additional challenges and unlockable content.
One of the distinctive features is the ability to create your own fighter and customise them with different characteristics and fighting styles. Soulcalibur III also offers extensive single-player content, including the story-focused Tales of Souls mode and Chronicles of the Sword. This Platinum edition delivers an extensive Soulcalibur experience on the PlayStation 2.
