Smuggler's Run 2 - PlayStation 2
Get behind the wheel and return to the world of illegal smuggling missions in Smuggler's Run 2: Hostile Territory for the PlayStation 2. This sequel revolves around transporting illegal cargo through dangerous areas while rivals and authorities attempt to stop you. Speed alone is not enough, as choosing a clever route across the terrain also plays an important role.
Gameplay combines off-road racing, high-speed pursuits and missions across large open environments. Using a variety of off-road vehicles, you race over hills, through forests and around obstacles while collecting cargo and delivering it to its destination. The freedom to choose your own route allows you to lose pursuers or search for the quickest way to your objective.
Alongside its smuggling missions, the game offers different challenges where speed, vehicle control and knowledge of the terrain are essential. Its expansive environments and fast off-road action give Smuggler's Run 2 a different style from traditional racing games. This makes it a distinctive action-racing title from the early PlayStation 2 era.
