Resistance 2 - PlayStation 3
Continue the fight against the Chimera in Resistance 2 for the PlayStation 3. The story continues after Resistance: Fall of Man and once again follows soldier Nathan Hale. As the Chimera expand their attack into the United States, Hale must join other soldiers in an attempt to stop the invasion while continuing to struggle with the Chimera virus inside his body.
Gameplay combines fast first-person gunfights, unusual weapons and large-scale confrontations. Alongside conventional firearms, you can use a variety of futuristic and alien weapons with unique functions. Throughout the campaign, you face numerous types of Chimera, including enormous enemies that create spectacular battles.
The adventure takes you through several American locations transformed by the invasion. Alongside the story campaign, Resistance 2 offers various multiplayer options and a separate cooperative mode featuring its own missions and character classes. With larger battles, science-fiction weaponry and its alternate-history setting, Resistance 2 expands on the world established by the original PlayStation 3 game.
