Experience the Raccoon City disaster from a different perspective in Resident Evil Outbreak for the PlayStation 2. As the T-virus spreads throughout the city, you follow a group of ordinary residents caught in the middle of the chaos. Their goal is simple but dangerous: work together, find a way out and survive before the city is completely overwhelmed by infected creatures.

Gameplay combines survival horror, exploration, puzzles and careful management of limited resources. You can choose from eight different characters, each with their own abilities and characteristics that can prove useful in different situations. Ammunition and healing supplies are limited, making it important to decide carefully when to fight and when escaping is the better option.

The adventure is divided into different scenarios set across Raccoon City, including a bar, hospital and other locations affected by the outbreak. One distinctive feature is that your character can become infected, creating constant pressure as you progress. Resident Evil Outbreak therefore offers a different perspective on the familiar Raccoon City disaster by focusing on ordinary people attempting to survive.
