Pokemon Colosseum - PAL - Nintendo GameCube
Discover a different side of the Pokémon world in Pokémon Colosseum for the Nintendo GameCube. The adventure takes place in the desert-like Orre region, where you play as a former member of Team Snagem and battle the mysterious organisation Cipher. They have transformed Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon, leaving you with the task of rescuing and purifying them.
Gameplay combines exploration, Pokémon battles and capturing Shadow Pokémon from other trainers. Using the special Snag Machine, you can capture these Pokémon during battles and gradually open their closed hearts to purify them. Battles are primarily fought as Double Battles, making team combinations and choosing the right moves especially important.
Pokémon Colosseum stands apart from the traditional handheld games with its more story-driven adventure, fully 3D environments and distinctive Shadow Pokémon mechanic. Pokémon could also be connected with compatible Game Boy Advance titles, adding further possibilities to the experience. This PAL edition is an interesting addition for Pokémon fans and collectors of Nintendo GameCube games.
