Pilotwings - UKV - Super Nintendo
Take to the skies in Pilotwings for the Super Nintendo, a distinctive flight game where precision and control are more important than outright speed. As a trainee pilot, you complete a series of challenges to earn licences and prove your ability across several different forms of aviation.
Challenges let you control a light aeroplane, hang glider, parachute and Rocketbelt. Each discipline requires a different approach: fly through checkpoints, aim for accurate landings and carefully manage your altitude, direction and speed. The Super Nintendo’s Mode 7 technology creates an impressive perspective across the environments, giving the game a distinctive sense of height and movement.
As you progress, the challenges become increasingly difficult and require greater precision to earn enough points for the next licence. Alongside the regular flight training, special missions provide additional variety. This PAL edition of Pilotwings represents a memorable title from the early Super Nintendo era and an interesting addition to a classic Nintendo collection.
