Take to the skies in Pilotwings for the Super Nintendo, a distinctive flying experience focused on precision and control. As a trainee pilot, you take part in a variety of lessons and challenges with the goal of earning enough points to obtain new pilot licences.
Control a light plane, hang glider and rocket belt, while also taking part in skydiving challenges. Each discipline requires a different approach: land accurately on the runway, fly through targets, reach specific landing zones and try to complete every assignment as cleanly as possible. Your performance is judged on factors such as accuracy and time, giving you plenty of opportunities to improve your scores.
Pilotwings was one of the early Super Nintendo titles to make extensive use of Mode 7 technology, creating an impressive sense of height, speed and movement. Its relaxed flying challenges are combined with more demanding missions, giving the game a distinctive identity within the Super Nintendo library. This FAH cartridge is an interesting addition for Nintendo fans, classic flight and simulation game enthusiasts and Super Nintendo collectors.
