Need for Speed: Porsche 2000 - PlayStation 1
Explore the history of Porsche in Need for Speed: Porsche 2000 for the PlayStation 1. Unlike many other entries in the Need for Speed series, this game focuses entirely on Porsche, featuring cars from different periods of the German manufacturer’s history. From classic sports cars to models that were modern at the time, each vehicle offers its own appearance and driving characteristics.
Gameplay combines racing, unlocking cars and progressing through different generations of Porsche. In Evolution mode, you work your way through different eras of Porsche history and gain access to increasingly modern vehicles. The game also features a variety of races and challenges where speed, braking and choosing the right racing line are important.
Its complete focus on a single manufacturer makes Need for Speed: Porsche 2000 stand apart from many other PlayStation racing games. Recognisable Porsche models and the evolution of the brand play a central role throughout the experience. This makes it an interesting title for fans of classic racing games, Need for Speed and Porsche.
