Need for Speed Carbon - PlayStation 2
Return to the world of illegal street racing in Need for Speed Carbon for the PlayStation 2. Following the events of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the player arrives in Palmont City, where rival crews control different parts of the streets. Build your own team, take over territories and challenge the city’s best racers.
Gameplay combines fast street racing, extensive car customisation, crew members and dangerous canyon duels. During certain races, team members can support you with their individual abilities, such as blocking opponents or showing you a faster route through the course. The Autosculpt system also allows different parts of your car to be extensively customised to your own taste.
Canyon Duels are a major part of the game, putting you directly against a rival on narrow mountain roads where every mistake can have serious consequences. Cars are divided into Muscle, Tuner and Exotic classes, each offering different handling characteristics and strengths. With its night-time atmosphere, extensive customisation and combination of crew and canyon racing, Need for Speed Carbon delivers a distinctive chapter in the Need for Speed series.
