Set out on a classic fantasy adventure in Mystic Quest Legend for the Super Nintendo. When the four crystals that keep the forces of the world in balance lose their light, young Benjamin begins a dangerous journey to restore their power and save the world.
Explore caves, forests, towers and other areas while battling monsters, solving puzzles and discovering new weapons and magic. Combat is turn-based and designed to be easy to understand, while different temporary companions support Benjamin throughout his adventure. Weapons such as swords, axes and bombs are not only useful in battle but can also be used to overcome obstacles in the environment.
Mystic Quest Legend was developed as an accessible introduction to the RPG genre and forms part of the Final Fantasy series, with the game released in North America as Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Its combination of straightforward battles, exploration, puzzles and a classic fantasy world gives it a distinctive place in the Super Nintendo library. This HOL edition is an interesting addition for Final Fantasy fans, classic RPG enthusiasts and Super Nintendo collectors.
