A major part of the gameplay is the Rider Reflex system, which allows you to control your rider and vehicle separately. This lets you shift your weight through sharp corners, recover from large jumps and perform a variety of tricks while airborne. The terrain also changes during races as vehicles create ruts and grooves, meaning the ideal racing line can develop throughout an event.
In addition to motocross bikes and ATVs, the game features several other off-road vehicles and disciplines.
