The Mortal Kombat tournament continues in Mortal Kombat II for the Super Nintendo. Following the events of the first game, the warriors are drawn into Outworld, where the powerful emperor Shao Kahn organizes a new tournament. Liu Kang and his allies must face a new group of dangerous opponents to stop the threat from Outworld.
Choose from familiar and new fighters including Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Mileena, Kung Lao and Jax, each with their own special attacks and fighting techniques. Combine punches, kicks and unique moves to defeat your opponents while learning the strengths of each fighter. Alongside Fatalities, the game also features other finishing moves such as Friendships and Babalities.
Mortal Kombat II expanded the original formula with more characters, new arenas, additional special moves and a wider selection of finishers. Its digitized fighters, dark atmosphere and fast one-on-one battles made the second entry an important chapter in the early Mortal Kombat series. This EUR edition is a great addition for Mortal Kombat fans, classic fighting game enthusiasts and Super Nintendo collectors.
