Metal Gear Solid [Platinum] - PAL - PlayStation 1

In Metal Gear Solid for PlayStation 1, take on the role of Solid Snake, an experienced secret agent sent on a dangerous mission to Shadow Moses Island in Alaska. A group of special forces soldiers has taken control of a nuclear facility and threatens to launch a nuclear weapon unless their demands are met. Snake must infiltrate the base undetected, rescue hostages and uncover the truth behind the threat. Rather than relying entirely on combat, the gameplay focuses on stealth, observation and avoiding enemy guards. Use items such as cardboard boxes, radar equipment and different weapons to overcome dangerous situations. Throughout the adventure, face memorable opponents including Revolver Ocelot, Psycho Mantis and Sniper Wolf. The story features extensive dialogue, unexpected developments and cinematic cutscenes that build tension throughout the mission. Its combination of tactical gameplay, memorable characters and engaging storytelling established Metal Gear Solid as an influential classic of the stealth genre. This PAL Platinum edition belongs to the recognizable PlayStation range of successful games released again as budget titles.
