Medal of Honor Vanguard - PlayStation 2
Jump from an aircraft over occupied Europe in Medal of Honor: Vanguard for the PlayStation 2. You play as Frank Keegan, a paratrooper of the American 82nd Airborne Division who takes part in several Allied operations during World War II. Dropped directly into battle, you must fight alongside other soldiers and break through enemy positions.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting, parachute landings and military missions. Use a selection of period weapons while fighting through villages, ruins and heavily defended enemy territory. Certain missions begin with a parachute jump, giving you some control over where you land and enter the battlefield.
The campaign takes Keegan through several European operations, including battles in Italy, France and the Netherlands. Along the way, you take part in intense firefights, capture strategic positions and support other Allied troops. With its focus on airborne soldiers, Vanguard brings a different approach to the familiar World War II action of the Medal of Honor series.
