Max Payne 3 - PlayStation 3
Return to the hard-edged world of Max Payne in Max Payne 3 for the PlayStation 3. Years after the events of the earlier games, Max has left New York behind and works in São Paulo as security for the wealthy Branco family. When a kidnapping develops into a violent chain of events, Max once again finds himself caught in a dangerous conflict.
Gameplay combines intense third-person gunfights, Bullet Time and the signature Shootdodge mechanic. Slow down time for more accurate shots, dive through the environment during firefights and use a wide arsenal of weapons to take down groups of enemies. Detailed animations and destructible elements give the combat a powerful and cinematic feel.
The story takes Max through different areas of São Paulo while flashbacks reveal what happened before his new life in Brazil. The dark atmosphere, Max's personal struggles and the cinematic presentation remain important parts of the experience. Max Payne 3 combines the distinctive character of the series with fast, precise action and large-scale gunfights.
