Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games - HOL - Nintendo Wii
Mario and Sonic appear together in the same game for the first time in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo Wii. Familiar characters from the worlds of Nintendo and SEGA compete in a variety of events based on the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Choose from characters including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and aim for the best possible performances.
Gameplay combines Olympic sports with the motion controls of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. Events include the 100-metre sprint, swimming, table tennis, archery and several athletics disciplines. Different movements are required depending on the event, making speed, timing and accuracy important to achieving high scores and records.
Alongside the official sporting events, the game also features Dream Events that bring more imaginative elements from the Mario and Sonic universes into the competition. You can attempt to improve records on your own or compete with friends. This HOL edition brings two of gaming’s most famous worlds together in an accessible sports game for the Nintendo Wii.
