Mafia II - PlayStation 3
Step into the world of organised crime with Mafia II for the PlayStation 3. Follow the story of Vito Scaletta, an Italian-American war veteran who returns to Empire Bay and becomes increasingly involved in a life of crime alongside his childhood friend Joe Barbaro. What begins with smaller jobs gradually develops into a dangerous career within the Mafia.
Gameplay combines third-person gunfights, driving, missions and a strongly story-driven adventure. Explore Empire Bay, use a variety of weapons, steal and drive classic cars, and complete assignments for different criminal families. The city changes as the story progresses, reflecting both the 1940s and 1950s through its vehicles, clothing, music and architecture.
Mafia II places a strong emphasis on its characters, atmosphere and the consequences of Vito's criminal lifestyle. Cinematic scenes connect the missions and develop his relationships with friends, family and the Mafia. Its combination of action, period atmosphere and a mature crime story makes Mafia II a distinctive title from the PlayStation 3 era.
