Travel across ancient Japan in Kenseiden for the SEGA Master System. Play as the samurai Hayato, who sets out after evil demons steal five sacred scrolls and the sword of the Dragon Lord. It is up to you to recover these treasures and defeat the dark forces behind the attack.
Fight your way through different provinces filled with demons, monsters, obstacles and powerful bosses. Hayato uses his sword to battle enemies and can learn new techniques throughout his journey that expand his abilities. Different routes can be chosen, giving you some freedom in deciding the order in which you explore the areas.
Kenseiden combines side-scrolling action with exploration, sword combat and a setting inspired by feudal Japan. Learning new techniques and choosing between different routes add extra depth to the adventure. This PAL edition is an interesting addition for fans of classic action-adventure games and SEGA Master System collectors.
