Jak II: Renegade - PlayStation 2
Return to Jak and Daxter in Jak II: Renegade for the PlayStation 2. After travelling through a mysterious Rift Gate, Jak finds himself in Haven City, where he is captured and subjected to experiments involving Dark Eco. Following his escape, he joins the resistance and becomes involved in the fight against Baron Praxis and his regime.
Gameplay combines platforming, gun combat, vehicles and Dark Jak powers. Alongside his familiar moves, Jak gains access to different weapons and can use vehicles to travel quickly through Haven City. By collecting Dark Eco, he can transform into Dark Jak, temporarily gaining more powerful attacks and special abilities.
Haven City serves as a large central area connecting a variety of missions and locations. The game has a darker atmosphere than its predecessor and combines traditional platforming with increased action, chases and combat. Together with Daxter’s humour and the expanded gameplay, Jak II: Renegade forms an important second chapter in the story of Jak and Daxter.
