Ice Age 2 The Meltdown - PlayStation 2
Join Scrat and the other familiar characters in Ice Age 2: The Meltdown for the PlayStation 2. The ice is beginning to melt and the valley is in danger of flooding, forcing the animals to search for a safe place. Throughout the adventure, you encounter familiar characters including Manny, Sid and Diego.
Gameplay combines platforming, exploration, puzzles and a variety of minigames. Much of the adventure is played as Scrat, running, jumping and climbing through colourful environments while, of course, continuing his endless search for acorns. Along the way, you collect items, avoid hazards and face different enemies.
The game is based on the animated movie Ice Age 2: The Meltdown and features the familiar humour, characters and icy environments of the film. Different types of challenges add variety between the platforming sections. This makes Ice Age 2: The Meltdown an accessible and entertaining adventure for fans of the Ice Age movies and classic PlayStation 2 platform games.
