Following the events of God of War II, Kratos joins the Titans in their assault against Zeus and the other gods of Olympus. His quest for revenge brings him face to face with some of the most powerful figures and creatures from Greek mythology.
Gameplay combines fast-paced hack-and-slash combat, brutal combos, puzzles and spectacular boss battles. Kratos wields his Blades of Exile and gains additional weapons and powers throughout his journey, each offering different attacks and abilities. Different enemies require different tactics, while enormous environments and large-scale encounters regularly become part of the action.
During his journey, Kratos encounters familiar mythological figures including Poseidon, Hades, Helios and Hercules as he continues his path towards Zeus. With its large-scale action, Greek mythology and intense storyline, God of War III delivers the spectacular conclusion to Kratos’ original Greek trilogy.
