Magic the Gathering Battlegrounds - Xbox

Discover a world of magic and strategic combat in Magic: The Gathering – Battlegrounds for the original Xbox. Released in 2003, this action-packed game is based on the famous Magic: The Gathering trading card game, transforming traditional card battles into real-time duels within a three-dimensional arena.

Take on the role of a powerful wizard and battle other spellcasters using magical abilities and summoned creatures. Gather mana to perform attacks, cast defensive spells and summon different monsters onto the battlefield. Each color of magic offers its own abilities and playstyle, allowing you to develop different strategies. Carefully choose your spells and attempt to reduce your opponent's life points to zero.

In the single-player mode, complete various challenges and unlock additional spells as you progress. You can also challenge a second player locally in competitive magical duels.

The combination of familiar elements from the trading card game, real-time action and tactical decision-making gives Magic: The Gathering – Battlegrounds its own distinctive identity. An interesting title for fans of fantasy, strategy and the well-known Magic universe.

This is the edition for the original Xbox.
