Sid Meier's Pirates - PlayStation PSP

Raise the sails and begin an adventurous pirate life in Sid Meier's Pirates! for PlayStation Portable (PSP). Combining action, strategy and adventure, this game takes you to the Caribbean during the seventeenth century, when pirates, merchant ships and European powers competed for control of the seas. Begin as a young pirate and enjoy the freedom to choose your own path towards fame and fortune. Sail between different islands, visit lively port towns and discover new opportunities to build your reputation. Attack enemy ships, use your cannons during exciting naval battles and capture valuable cargo. When boarding a vessel, challenge the opposing captain in a sword fight. Beyond combat, you can trade goods, search for treasure, complete missions and develop relationships with different colonial powers. Visit governors, meet interesting characters and try to impress others during dancing events. You can also expand your fleet and acquire increasingly powerful ships. The open-ended game world gives you plenty of freedom to decide which adventures to pursue. With its combination of exploration, combat and strategic decisions, Sid Meier's Pirates! delivers a varied pirate experience on the go.
