Nintendogs Dalmatian and Friends - UKV - Nintendo DS

Discover the joy of caring for your own virtual puppy with Nintendogs Dalmatian and Friends for the Nintendo DS. Released in Europe in 2006, this charming pet simulation from Nintendo introduces you to a variety of adorable dog breeds. Thanks to the touchscreen, built-in microphone and interactive gameplay, looking after and training your puppy becomes a personal and engaging experience.

In Nintendogs, you begin by choosing a puppy from several different breeds. This edition features the Dalmatian as one of its main breeds, alongside others such as the Boxer, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Yorkshire Terrier and Beagle. Every puppy has its own appearance and personality, allowing you to choose a companion that suits your preferences.

Daily care is an important part of the game. You feed your puppy, give it water, brush its coat and wash it when necessary. You can also spend time playing together by throwing a ball or a flying disc. The more attention you give your puppy, the stronger your bond becomes.

Using the Nintendo DS microphone, you can teach your dog different voice commands. Call your puppy by name and practise tricks such as sitting, lying down and shaking paws. Your puppy gradually learns to recognise your voice and respond to the commands you give. The touchscreen allows you to pet, groom and interact with your dog directly.

In addition to everyday care, you can enter various dog competitions. Test your puppy's skills in agility trials, catch flying discs in disc competitions or demonstrate its training in obedience contests. Successful performances earn prize money that you can spend on new toys, accessories and grooming supplies.

You can also take your puppy for walks and discover different items along the way. As you progress, additional possibilities become available, and you can eventually care for multiple puppies. The combination of pet care, training and competitions creates a relaxing experience with plenty of activities to enjoy.
