Soul Calibur IV [Platinum] - PlayStation 3
Enter the arena once again in Soul Calibur IV for the PlayStation 3. The eternal struggle surrounding the legendary Soul Calibur and Soul Edge swords continues, bringing familiar fighters such as Mitsurugi, Siegfried, Nightmare, Ivy and Sophitia back into battle. The PlayStation 3 version also features Darth Vader from Star Wars as a playable guest fighter.
Gameplay focuses on 3D combat, unique weapons, combos, evasive moves and powerful special attacks. Every fighter uses their own weapon and fighting style, giving battles a different feel depending on your chosen character. The Critical Finish system can also allow you to end a fight in spectacular fashion when the right conditions are met.
Alongside its different battle modes, Soul Calibur IV includes an extensive Character Creation mode for designing and customising your own fighters. Its combination of fast weapon-based combat, a varied character roster and memorable Star Wars guest characters gives this entry its own identity within the series. This is the Platinum edition of Soul Calibur IV for the PlayStation 3.
