Enter a futuristic world filled with political tension and armed conflict in Killzone Shadow Fall for the PlayStation 4. The story takes place around thirty years after the events of Killzone 3 and follows Lucas Kellan, a Shadow Marshal working for the Vektan Security Agency. The Vektans and Helghast live alongside each other on the same planet, separated by a massive wall, but tensions between the two populations continue to rise.

Gameplay combines first-person shooting, stealth and tactical options. Lucas has access to a variety of weapons and can use the OWL, an advanced drone capable of attacking enemies, providing protection and assisting with navigation. This allows encounters to be approached in different ways, switching between direct combat and a more careful tactical approach.

Throughout the campaign, you visit a variety of futuristic environments as the conflict between the Vektans and Helghast continues to escalate. Alongside its large-scale action, the game places an emphasis on its story and the different sides of the conflict. The official online multiplayer servers have since been shut down, making the single-player campaign the main playable part of Killzone Shadow Fall today.
