Battlefield Hardline - PlayStation 4
Leave the military battlefield behind and enter the conflict between police and criminals in Battlefield Hardline for the PlayStation 4. The single-player campaign follows detective Nick Mendoza as an investigation into drug trafficking draws him into a world of corruption, betrayal and organised crime. Its story is structured like a crime television series, with different episodes and action-packed confrontations.
Gameplay combines first-person combat, stealth, arrests and high-speed pursuits. Use your scanner to identify suspects and important information, attempt to arrest criminals without starting a gunfight or take a more direct approach when the situation escalates. Cars and other vehicles play an important role during pursuits and larger confrontations.
Multiplayer also gives the familiar Battlefield formula a crime-focused setting, with police and criminals facing each other across different game modes. Modes such as Heist and Hotwire revolve around robberies, vehicles and strategic objectives. Battlefield Hardline offers a different take on the series by combining large-scale action with police work, crime and fast-paced pursuits.
