Sonic Unleashed - PlayStation 3
Set out on a worldwide adventure in Sonic Unleashed for the PlayStation 3. When Dr. Eggman uses the power of the Chaos Emeralds to break the planet apart and awaken Dark Gaia, Sonic is also transformed into a mysterious Werehog form. Together with his new friend Chip, he travels around the world to restore the Chaos Emeralds and put the planet back together.
Gameplay combines high-speed Sonic stages during the day with action-focused Werehog stages at night. As Sonic, the focus is on speed, quick reactions, rails, loops and avoiding obstacles while racing through extensive courses. As the Werehog, gameplay shifts towards combat, platforming and using Sonic's extended arms to attack enemies and reach objects or platforms.
Throughout the adventure, you visit different areas inspired by real-world locations and cultures. The contrast between Sonic's speed and the Werehog's more powerful gameplay gives the stages distinctive play styles. Sonic Unleashed combines fast platforming, combat and a colourful journey around the world in one extensive Sonic adventure.
