Far Cry 2 - PlayStation 3

Travel to a war-torn African country in Far Cry 2 for the PlayStation 3. Your mission is to track down The Jackal, a mysterious arms dealer supplying weapons to both sides of a violent conflict. What begins as a targeted mission develops into a dangerous struggle for survival across an unpredictable open world.

Gameplay combines first-person gunfights, open exploration and multiple ways to approach missions. Travel on foot or use vehicles and boats to explore large savannahs, jungles, settlements and other environments. Weapons can deteriorate and jam through use, while fire can dynamically spread across dry vegetation and be used tactically against enemies.

Throughout the adventure, you encounter rival factions, checkpoints and various characters who can provide missions or assistance. Malaria also plays a role, requiring medication to keep its effects under control. With its large open world, dynamic systems and emphasis on freedom, Far Cry 2 delivers a rugged and challenging shooter experience on PlayStation 3.
