Darksiders - PlayStation 3
Enter a devastated world in Darksiders for the PlayStation 3. You play as War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who is summoned to Earth when the final battle between Heaven and Hell unexpectedly begins. After being blamed for triggering the Apocalypse too early, War is given the chance to return to Earth and discover who betrayed him.
Gameplay combines hack-and-slash combat, exploration, puzzles and a variety of supernatural abilities. War uses his enormous sword Chaoseater and gains access to additional weapons, equipment and powers throughout the adventure. New abilities open previously inaccessible areas while also helping you solve puzzles and defeat increasingly powerful enemies.
Throughout your journey, you explore ruins, dungeons and other areas of an Earth overrun by demons and angels. Large boss battles, hidden items and various upgrades provide additional challenges beyond the main story. With its combination of brutal action, extensive exploration and a dark apocalyptic storyline, Darksiders delivers an adventurous action experience on PlayStation 3.
