Borderlands 2 - PlayStation 3
Return to the chaotic planet of Pandora in Borderlands 2 for the PlayStation 3. The planet is under the control of Handsome Jack and the Hyperion Corporation, and as one of the new Vault Hunters you become involved in the fight against his rule. Throughout the adventure, you encounter several familiar characters from the original Borderlands while discovering new locations, enemies and secrets.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting, RPG elements, character progression and an enormous variety of weapons and equipment. Choose from several Vault Hunters, each with a unique Action Skill, abilities and play style. Completing missions and defeating enemies earns experience, develops your skill trees and constantly rewards you with new loot.
Pandora offers a wide range of environments, from deserts and settlements to snowy landscapes and industrial locations. The campaign can be played alone but is also strongly focused on cooperative action with other players. With its extensive loot system, distinctive visual style, humour and combination of shooter and RPG mechanics, Borderlands 2 expands upon the characteristic formula of the original game.
