Borderlands - PlayStation 3
Travel to the dangerous planet of Pandora in Borderlands for the PlayStation 3. As one of four Vault Hunters, you set out in search of the legendary Vault, which is said to contain extraordinary loot and alien technology. Along the way, you face bandits, dangerous creatures and other enemies roaming Pandora's hostile wastelands.
Gameplay combines first-person shooting with RPG elements, character progression and an enormous variety of weapons. Choose between Roland, Lilith, Mordecai or Brick, each offering unique abilities and a different play style. Defeating enemies and completing missions earns experience, unlocks new skills and constantly rewards you with new weapons and equipment.
Pandora features various areas that can be explored on foot or using vehicles. Alongside the main story, numerous additional missions are available, and the campaign can be played either alone or cooperatively with other players. With its distinctive cel-shaded visual style, extensive loot system and combination of shooter and RPG mechanics, Borderlands offers a recognisable identity of its own.
