Starwing - UKV - Super Nintendo
Take control of the Arwing in Starwing for the Super Nintendo. As Fox McCloud, you lead the Star Fox team alongside Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare and Slippy Toad in the battle against the forces of the evil Andross. Your mission takes you from Corneria across the Lylat system towards the planet Venom.
Gameplay focuses on 3D aerial combat, avoiding obstacles and destroying enemy ships and bosses. Pilot your Arwing through different environments filled with hazards, enemy formations and incoming attacks. Power-ups can be collected along the way, while quick reactions and accurate shooting become increasingly important.
Starwing was one of the most technically distinctive releases for the Super Nintendo thanks to its use of the Super FX chip, which enabled polygonal 3D graphics on the console. Multiple routes through the Lylat system also provide additional challenge and replay value. This UKV edition is an interesting addition for fans of Nintendo history, classic shooters and Super Nintendo collectors.
