Drill your way underground in Mr. Driller for the Nintendo Game Boy Color. Playing as Susumu Hori, your goal is to dig through huge amounts of coloured blocks and travel deeper beneath the surface. What starts simply soon becomes a puzzle filled with speed, careful planning and dangerous falling blocks.
Gameplay revolves around drilling through blocks, matching colours and managing your oxygen supply. Blocks of the same colour can connect and disappear when the right combinations are created. At the same time, your oxygen constantly decreases, requiring you to collect air capsules along the way to continue your descent.
The deeper you travel, the more important it becomes to plan ahead and keep track of the blocks above you. Its combination of straightforward controls and increasingly challenging puzzles makes Mr. Driller easy to start but difficult to fully master. This EUR cartridge is an enjoyable addition for puzzle game fans and Nintendo Game Boy Color collectors.
